What is Euronet and what services does it provide?
Where can I find a Euronet ATM near me?
Our Euronet ATM network operates in more than forty countries globally. Many customers search for a Euronet ATM near me when travelling or moving through busy locations. The machines can be easily recognised by their blue and yellow branding and are often found in airports, transport hubs, and shopping centres. They also serve local neighbourhoods, villages, and communities – ensuring cash access for all. We continuously populate Google Maps to make it easier for you to locate them, wherever you are.
What services do Euronet ATMs offer?
Each Euronet ATM provides essential services such as cash withdrawal, balance enquiry and PIN functions. Additional features may vary by country – including cash deposits, merchant fill, multicurrency withdrawals, cardless payouts, and more. All machines are designed to deliver secure and reliable cash services.
Which cards can I use at Euronet ATMs?
A wide range of cards is accepted at every Euronet ATM, regardless of issuing bank. This includes cards by Visa, VPay, Electron, Mastercard, Maestro, Cirrus, JCB, UnionPay, American Express, Discover and national card schemes.
Are Euronet ATMs safe to use?
Security is a top priority for Euronet. Each transaction is protected by advanced encryption technology, anti-skimming features and regularly updated software, ensuring that your financial information stays safe. Euronet ATMs use ink-dye technology, ensuring cash is destroyed in the event of a theft attempt, and are protected from vandalism acts by alerts and alarms as needed. Euronet adheres to industry security protocols (e.g. PCI-DCC, ISO and other) and works with regulatory bodies to maintain state-of-the-art security practices.
Are Euronet ATMs easy to use?
With clearly visible, high contrast colours and up to 20 languages available, our ATMs are accessible, straightforward and easy to use.
Are there fees when using Euronet ATMs?
Euronet ATMs are designed to give you options. Whenever an ATM access fee may apply, the information is displayed clearly on the screen before the transaction is completed, so you can decide what works best for you. Your card issuer may also set its own conditions for withdrawals at third-party ATMs. Those are independent from Euronet and Euronet has no prior knowledge of or influence on them. With Euronet, you’re always in control — your cash, your freedom, your choice.
Are Euronet ATMs expensive?
We respect that fees can be an important consideration, and customers may feel strongly about paying them. But we balance these fees with a beneficial and convenient facility to our merchants, partners, and customers. Euronet ATMs are available everywhere, from major travel hubs to the most remote communities, ensuring that people always have access to cash when they need it. This means that there may be a fee involved for the use of a Euronet ATM – contributing to the maintenance, upkeep, and continued provision of the service. Where Euronet applies a fee, this will be transparently displayed on the ATM screen during the transaction and is comparable to other ATM providers, especially in busy areas like airports or tourist hubs, where convenience often comes at a premium.

What is conversion at the ATM?
When a customer requires a cash withdrawal and the card currency is different than the currency of the ATM’s country, a conversion must take place. The ATM software will offer the option to perform the transaction in the card’s currency (called “home” currency) or the currency of the ATM’s country (called “local” currency). The customer may then choose between
- accepting Euronet’s real-time currency conversion offer (called Dynamic Currency Conversion-DCC) with the exchange rate, which includes a markup, displayed on the ATM screen, or
- declining Euronet’s currency conversion offer and opting for their bank to make the conversion with their exchange rate and relevant markup, which will be revealed only later, on the bank statement.
Accepting Euronet’s real-time currency conversion offer is the convenient, transparent and well-informed choice.

No. As a company that strives for transparency, our ATMs clearly display any applicable Euronet fee during the transaction process, allowing you to make an informed choice.
Furthermore, the customer may cancel the transaction at any time without a fee, by pressing the Cancel button on the ATM keyboard.
Is Euronet a scam?
Euronet is no ‘scam’. Any Euronet fee is displayed clearly and transparently during the transaction process. We are a leading global provider of accessible cash services. Whether you’re traveling abroad or at home, you can rely on Euronet to provide a convenient and safe ATM experience.

ATM Safety
Stay safe at any ATM with these helpful tips
Check the ATM
Before you use the ATM, always check to see if there are any unusual objects or any trace of damage on the machine (e.g. if there is something placed on the card reader)! If you see anything unusual on the ATM or there’s an error message displayed – do not use the machine.
Be safe at the ATM
Stand at the ATM so no one can see your PIN code or how much money you have withdrawn. We suggest hiding the PIN pad with your hands when entering the code and before you take your cash and card, look around, is anyone standing directly behind you?
Never
Never offer up any information to a stranger, especially card, bank account or PIN details, even if they advise they work for the bank. Always contact either your bank or Euronet directly!
